JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Two Daesh militants, who were involved in an attack on Vice President AmrullahSaleh and recent attacks in Shinwari district of Nangarhar province, have been arrested, an official said on Thursday.
Attaullah Khogyani, the governor spokesperson, said financial and procurement heads of the Daesh militant group were arrested in a National Directorate of Security (NDS) personnel overnight raid.
The operation was conducted in the Shergar locality of Kama district, he said, identifying as Daesh procurement and financial affairs in charge Samiullah known as Munsif and the group member Rohullah known as Musa.
He added the two were involved in the attack on Vice President AmrullahSaleh and recent subversive activities in the Shinwari district.
