KABUL (Pajhwok): Two Taliban militants involved in terrorist attacks in central Ghor province have been arrested, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said on Friday.
In a tweet, the ministry said the arrests came during an Afghan National Army (ANA) operation in the provincial capital on Thursday.
“2 #Taliban who had been involved in terrorist activities and targeted killings in Ghor, were arrested by ANA in Ferozkoh yesterday,” the tweet added.
However, the, ministry neither identified the detainees nor mentioned the terrorist attacks they conducted in the province.
It posted pictures showing the arm and ammunition, including an AK-47 assault rifle, seized by the ANA soldiers.
