KABUL (Pajhwok): Three torched bodies have been found in the Injil district of western Herat province, local officials said on Saturday.
Public Health Director Abdul Hakim Tamana confirmed the bodies’ finding to Pajhwok Afghan News.
He said the corpses of a woman, a child and an elderly man were found by the police personnel in Kahdistan area of the district and shifted to hospital.
The public health director added that forensic tests on the bodies were underway.
Polices spokesman Abdul Ahad Walizada also confirmed the incident, saying investigations showed the three individuals had been killed elsewhere but their bodies were torched in Kahdistan.
