HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Seven civilians have been killed as a result of a traffic accident in western Herat province, an official said on Tuesday.
Mohammad Rafiq Sherzai, spokesman for the Public Health Department, said two vehicles collided on the Herat City-Rabat Sangi highway on Monday evening.
He added seven people, including two children, three women and two men, were killed in the collision.
In a similar accident, 12 people, including women and children, were wounded on Herat City-Pashtun Zarghoon highway on Tuesday.
