2 people killed, 1 injured in Herat accident

HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Two people died and a third wounded as a result of a traffic accident in western Herat province on Wednesday morning, an official said.

Ibrahim Mohammadi, head Herat Ambulance, told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident happened on the Herat-Kandahar highway at around 9am in the morning.

He said the accident occurred when three individuals riding a motorcycle collided with a roadside rock in Mir Dawood area as a result of polluted weather.

He said two individuals were killed and a third wounded– who was currently in critical condition.

Mohammadi said the bodies were shifted to civil hospital.
