Ghazni: 2 revenue department officials shot dead

GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Unknown gunmen shot dead two revenue department workers in Ghazni City on Monday, security officials said on Monday.

Ahmad Khan Seerat, the police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the revenue officials were gunned down in the Bazazi area of the second police district at 9.00am.

He said police have mounted a hunt for the perpetrators.

Niamatullah, a local resident, told Pajhwok Afghan news the incident happened just 200 metres from the police headquarters.

He said two gunmen killed the employees near Ghazni Police headquarters and fled the area.

It is to mention that lately target killings have spiked in Kabul and other provinces.
