CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): The head of appellant attorney office for central Parwan province survived a bomb attack on his convoy on Tuesday.
At least three of his bodyguards were wounded in the explosion, a police official told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Mohammad Sadeq Hashimi, the Parwan crime branch chief, said the attack on Mohammad Sharif Mehraban Sherzad’s convoy occurred at around 10am.
He added Sherzad was on his way to the appellant persecution department of Bagram district to investigate cases when his convoy struck a landmine in the Ghulam Ali Bazaar area of Bagram district.
He added Sherzad escaped unhurt because the vehicle behind his struck the landmine and one of his bodyguards was injured.
Meanwhile, another source said the vehicle carrying the official struck a landmine, which resulted in injuries to three of his bodyguards.
