50-bed hospital completes in Nangarhar’s Rodat district

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): A 50-bed hospital has been completed and work on a 10-km road launched in the Rodat district of eastern Nangarhar province, an official said on Wednesday.

Public Health Director Naseer Ahmad Durrani said human resource structure for the Rodat hospital had been approved and required equipment would be provided soon.

The hospital building has been constructed in Pawi Kando locality at a cost of 45 million afghanis.

Separately, construction work on a 10-kilometre was launched in the district.  Governor Ziaul Haq Amarkhel said the road was five metres wide.

He said 35 culverts, a 350-metre retaining wall and embankment of 1,235 metres long streams would be constructed in the province as well.

The residents of Rodat were happy over construction of the hospital and road and said the two projects would help resolve health and transport related problems of people.
