AIBAK (Pajhwok): Three people have been killed and four others wounded as a result of traffic accident in northern Balkh province, an official said on Wednesday.
Police spokesman Munir Rahimi told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident occurred in the Tangi Tashqurghan area of Khulam district on Tuesday afternoon.
The accident took place after a jeep of the police chief collided with a Corolla car. He blamed the collision on rash driving.
Rahimi explained Abdullah Gard, the police chief, was not in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
He said three passengers of the Corolla vehicle lost their lives and four others sustained wounds. All victims hailed from Aibak.
