2 police killed, 4 wounded in Kabul blasts

KABUL (Pajhwok): At least two policemen were killed and four others wounded in two separate explosions in Kabul on Wednesday morning.

Police spokesman Firdos Faramarz told Pajhwok Afghan News the first blast took place in Dispachari area of the 9^th police district at around 8:00am.

He said a police pick-up was hit by the magnetic bomb blast, injuring two policemen.

In a similar incident, two policemen were killed and as many others wounded in Salim Karwan area of the 12^th police district.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the explosions. Kabul has witnessed a spate of sticky bomb blasts in recent months.
