KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Thursday said 34 new positive Covid-19 cases registered in the last 24 hours in the country.
The ministry in a statement said 1,859 people underwent tests since Saturday and the virus was detected in 34 people, pushing the overall tally to 55,265.
It said 9 cases were detected in Herat, 6 in Kunar, 5 in Nangarhar, 4 each in Kandahar , Parwan , 3 in Laghman, 2 in Kabul and 1 in Kinduz provinces.
Thirteen individuals recovered from the virus, taking the total tally of recovered people to 47,995 . . .
