KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Thursday announced detecting 25 new positive Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
The ministry in a statement said 2,136 people underwent tests since Wednesday in nine provinces and the virus was found in 25 people, pushing the overall tally to 55,445.
It said six cases were detected in Nangarhar, five in Takhar, four in Herat, two each in Kandahar, Balkh, Badghis, Kunar and one each in Kabul and Miadan Wardak provinces.
