KABUL (Pajhwok): A huge increase was recorded on in the prices of flour, cooking oil, sugar and fuel this week in Kabul, with rates of some other daily essentials remaining steady, Pajhwok learnt.
According to Mohammad Omaid Hussainzada, a wholes seller in Kabul Food Market, the wholesale price of 49 kilogram of Kazak flour surged from 1,800 to 1,860afs, the price of 49 kilogram of Indian sugar rose from 2,250afs to 2,270afs and a 16-litre Malaysian cooking oil from 1,500 to 1,600afs.
