PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): For the first time, the 24/7 urban ambulance service was launched in northern Baghlan province on Monday, officials said.
Dr.HabibullahMohib, Baghlan public health department head, in a ceremony regarding the ambulance service, said after Herat, Kabul and Parwan provinces, now 24/7 urban ambulance was launched in Baghlan province.
“These three ambulances have nine health workers and would serve the public day and night,” he added.
He said many heart patients and pregnant women would lose their lives before reaching hospitals but with these ambulances, the matter would be solved to a larger extent . . .
