MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): A religious scholar was wounded along with two others as a sticky bomb attached to their vehicle exploded in this capital city of northern Balkh province on Sunday.
Balkh police spokesman Adil Shah Adil told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast took place in Marmalkocha area in limits of first police district at around 4pm.
He said three individuals including a religious scholar were wounded in the incident and one of the wounded was said to be in critical condition.
Adil said all the wounded were civilians.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the incident.
