JALALABAD (Pajhwok): A local representative was killed in a magnetic bomb blast ripped through his vehicle in eastern Nangarhar province on Saturday, an official said.
Police spokesman Fareed Khan told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast took place in Sabzabad area of 7th police district at around 8:00am.
He said Mohammad Hashim Hamdard, a local representative, was on his way to city from home when a sticky bomb attached to his vehicle went off.
Fareed Khan added that Hamdard was injured and evacuated to the hospital.
