KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Thursday announced detecting 23 new positive Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours across the country.
The ministry in a statement said 1,857 people underwent tests since Saturday and the virus was detected in 23 people, pushing the overall tally to 55,940.
It said six cases were detected in Nangarhar, four in Kabul, three each in Helmand, in Kunar, two in Herat, one each in Balkh, Faryab, Laghman, Uruzgan and Samangan provinces.
