KABUL (Pajhwok): Three women government servants have been killed and 15 others wounded in a bomb attack in Kabul.
The bus carrying the female government employees came under attack in Dahan-i-Bagh area of the capital on Monday afternoon.
A private TV channel reported the women worked for the ministries of telecommunication, education and information.
A statement from Kabul police said at least 15 civilians were wounded in the explosion, which took place at around 3:50 pm. The injured were evacuated to hospital.
Tolonews quoted unnamed sources as saying the bus was carrying workers of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the blast in the capital, where sticky bomb attacks and targeted killings have lately spiked.
Two days ago, five people were killed, and 16 others wounded in two back-to-back bombings in the city. The blasts struck passenger vehicles.
