KABUL (Pajhwok): National Security Advisor HamdullahMohib on Saturday said illegal armed commander Alipour had failed to fulfill his commitments with the government and he prevented the government’s writ to prevail in areas under his control.
He said Alipour was an example of illegal armed groups. He extorted people in areas under his control and did not allow the government to function, Mohib said of Alipour.
“People who take arms and fight the system are no different from the Taliban,” he said.
About the appointment of new Interior Minister, the NSA said there was need for drastic reforms and therefore the president took this decision.
Mohib said he spoke to Dr. Abdullah Abdullah in the morning and tried to resolve the problem through talks.
Acting Defense Minister Yasin Zia said the army copter wanted to shift injured security forces when it was targeted in Behsud district.
