HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Five members of a pro-government militia have been killed in a Taliban attack in Kohsan district of western Herat province, local sources said on Saturday.
A credible source told Pajhwok Afghan News the Taliban on Friday night attacked a check-post of public uprising force in KaalQambar area of Kohsan district, killing five members of the force.
The source said Taliban also carried away multiple heavy and light weapons from the check-post.
Herat officials and Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
