KABUL (Pajhwok): Turkish religious affairs chief Dr. Ali Arbash has vowed to convene a joint conference of Islamic scholars on the conflict in Afghanistan.
The Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs in a statement said Hajj and Religious Affairs Minister Mohammad Qasim Halimi talked to Dr. Ali Arbash via a video link.
Halimi asked Dr. Arbash to convene a joint conference of Islamic scholars of the two countries to exchange views on the situation in Afghanistan.
Halimi said the views of Turkish scholars could play a positive role and also hoped that Turkey would give its clear view on condemning . . .
