KABUL (Pajhwok): American and Afghan official discussed multiple times the issue of US troop withdrawal, a presidential aide said on Wednesday.
Wahid Omar, advisor to the president on public and strategic affairs, said US President Joe Biden was expected to talk soon to his Afghan counterpart on details of the new withdrawal plan.
He added the Ghani administration would formally comment after the expected telephonic conversation between the two leaders.
Omar said they would respect any decision taken by the US government with regard to American troops.
