KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 196 new positive COVID-19 cases and four deaths have been recorded in Afghanistan in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Public Health said on Thursday.
The ministry said 1,781 people underwent tests during the past 24 hours and the virus was detected in 196 people, pushing the overall tally to 58,542.
Of the fresh cases, 38 were recorded in Nangarhar, 26 in Kandahar, 19 in Laghman, 17 in Kabul, 13 in Kapisa, 12 each in Logar and Parwan, 10 in Nimroz, nine each in Herat and Kunar, eight in Paktia, seven in . . .
