KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 145 new Covid-19 cases and 13 deaths have been recorded in Afghanistan in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Public Health said on Tuesday.
The ministry said 1,519 people underwent tests during the past 24 hours and the virus was detected in 145, pushing the overall tally to 59,370.
Of the fresh cases, 55 were recorded in Kabul, 17 in Nangarhar, 11 in Ghazni, seven each in Paktia, Maidan Wardak and Paktika and six each in Baghlan and Kapisa.
