MoPH records 106 Covid-19 cases, 7 deaths

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Wednesday said it registered 106 positive coronavirus cases nationwide during the last 24 hours that saw seven patients losing battle for life.

The ministry in a statement said 1877 people underwent coronavirus tests and 206 of them tested positive for the deadly virus, pushing the overall tally to 59576.

During the period, 180 people recovered from the pandemic, taking the total recoveries to 52974.

The total death toll climbed to 2618 after seven people died of the virus since yesterday, the statement said.
