HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): At least 30 armed Taliban suffered causalities in a clash with Afghan forces in eastern of province of Herat, an official said on Monday.
JilaniFarhad, spokesman for the provincial governor, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the Taliban first carried out two car bomb attacks on the administrative building of Farsi and the district police headquarters and then clashed with security forces on Monday.
He said 30 armed Taliban suffered casualties in the clash but it was not yet clear how many Taliban were killed and how many wounded.
He did not comment on security forces casualties; but . . .
