KABUL (Pajhwok): The UN secretary-general has condemned heinous the bombing of a school in Kabul, killing and wounding scores of civilians, including many girl students.
António Guterres voiced his deepest sympathies to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Afghanistan.
In a statement on Monday, he wished a speedy recovery to those injured. “Those responsible for this heinous crime must be held accountable,” he stressed.
The UN chief underlined the urgency of ending the violence in Afghanistan and achieving a peaceful settlement of the conflict.
