Afghanistan records 261 positive Covid-19 cases, 5 deaths

KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan recorded 261postive coronavirus cases and five deaths in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Public Health said in a statement on Thursday.

According to the source the total number of positive coronavirus cases surged to 63,439 while 2,730 people died from the virus since its inception in the country.

Forty-nine people have recovered from coronavirus in the past 24 hours taking the total number of recovered persons to 54,619.
