Eid prayer offered nation-wide

KABUL (Pajhwok): The first day of Eid-ul-Fitr has begun in the country with people offering Eid prayer.

Eid-ul-Fitr prayer offered in Eidgah and mosques in capital Kabul and provinces.

President Ashraf Ghani, cabinet members and other government officials offered Eid prayer in the Presidential Palace mosque.

After prayer, Imam and religious scholars prayed for peace, stability and prosperity of the country.

Lutfullah, the resident of capital Kabul, offered his Eid prayer in Pul Khesti moque. He said: “People are really happy to the Taliban and government ceasefire during Eid. We hope this ceasefire extended beyond Eid.”
