KABUL (Pajhwok): Leader of Hizb-e-Islami Afghanistan Gulbuddin Hekmatyar on Friday accused some western countries for supporting Israel and announced support to the people of Palestine on the behalf of the people of Afghanistan.
Over 200 Palestinian civilians were killed and hundreds others injured in Isrel forces airstrikes and firing in the past 11 days.
Addressing his supporters here, Hekmatyar strong condemned Israel aggression against innocent Palestinians and termed the ongoing fight a conflict between Western occupiers and Muslims. He alleged the enemies of Islam are directly behind this conflict.
Hekmatyar accused some western countries for supporting Israel occupying Palestinian lands and claimed the condition of Muslims around the world will soon be changed.
He told Israel: “NATO which is your biggest ally defeated in Afghanistan.”
He also alleged the leaders of Islamic world were unmoved by Israel aggression against Palestinians. “If there is no support from western countries, Israel will never dare to suppress Palestinians.”
