KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) on Saturday said 242 new positive Covid-19 cases were registered in the last 24 hours in the country.
The ministry in a statement said 1,493 people underwent tests since Friday and the virus was detected in 242 people, pushing the overall tally to 65,728.
It said 122 cases were detected in Kabul, 28 in Balkh , 18 in MiadanWardak, 16 in Parwan, 13 in Kandahar, eight each in Helmand, Panjsher, seven in Bakhashan, five each in Nangarhar, Baghlan, two each in Ghor, Sari Pul and one in Nimroz provinces.
