FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): The Provincial Council (PC) member of northeastern Badakhshan province and four other people were injured in a blast in Faizabad, the provincial capital.
Governor Spokesperson Naik Mohammad Nazari told Pajhwok Afghan News PC Member Munira Alamyar and four other people were injured in a blast that took place in the limits of fourth Police District.
Shafiqullah Habib, head of the UStad Rabbani Hospital said the injured had been shifted to the hospital and they were in stable condition.
Ahmad Javed, an eyewitness, said the blast was powerful and broken the windowpanes of nearby buildings.
No group claimed responsibility for the blast.
