KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): Residents of southern Kandahar province say the security of the Dahla dam must be ensured and reconstruction work on it resumed at the earliest possible.
Inhabitants raise concerns about the dam’s security weeks after militants blew up a bridge near the facility.
The dam subsequently fell into Taliban’s hands. But security forces regained control of the dam as a result of a counterattack.
