KABUL (Pajhwok): The National Statistics and Information Authority (NSIA) says at least 1.5 million electronic identity (e-ID) cards have been distributed and 4.5 million such cards processed in the first two months of this solar year.
President Ashraf Ghani met the leadership of NSIA and listened to a report of its performance on Saturday evening, the Presidential Palace said in a statement.
Ahmad Javed Rassouli, director of NSIA, presented the report on the functions, performance and challenges in the e-ID card distribution.
