FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): Eight people, including women and children, were killed and nine others injured as a passenger bus overturned in northeastern Badakhshan province on Monday, an official said.
Governor Spokesperson Naik Mohammad Nazari said the accident happened in the Arghanjwa district this afternoon.
He said the vehicle overturned after the driver lost control and deviated from the road.
The passenger bus was on its way from Arghanjwa district to Faizabad City, the provincial capital, when the incident happened.
