KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 1,118 new Covid-19 cases and 27 deaths have been recorded in Afghanistan in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Public Health said on Wednesday.
The ministry in a statement said 4,063 test were conducted tests during the past 24 hours and the virus was detected in 1,118 people, bringing the overall tally to 75,144.
Of the fresh cases, 222 were recorded in Kabul, 184 in Balkh, 151 in Logar, 75 in Nangarhar, 65 in Kunduz, 61 in Maidan Wardak, 57 in Takhar, 49 in Ghazni, 48 in Kandahar, 40 in . . .
