PUL-I-KHUMRI/PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): A minor girl was killed and her father, mother, sister and a brother were injured after being hit by a stray artillery shell in northern Baghlan province and four policemen were killed in central Logar provinces, said officials on Saturday.
Naveed, a resident of Shinwari village in Dand Ghori area of Pul-i-Khumri, the provincial capital, told Pajhwok Afghan News that a family tried to take refuge in the village mosque amid an ongoing clash between security forces and militants when they were hit by an artillery shell.
