KABUL (Pajhwok): US special representative for Afghanistan reconciliation Dr. ZalmayKhalilzad said Monday that his country would continue to provide security, economic and humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan.
Khalilzad made the remarks at a news conference in Nur Sultan, the capital of Kazakhstan, after talks with Kazakh officials on Afghan peace during a visit to the country.
He stressed the importance of regional countries, including Kazakhstan, in strengthening the Afghan peace.
He said they were working together with other countries to achieve the goal of development in Afghanistan besides progress in the Afghan peace process and future of the country’s economy . . .
