KABUL (Pajhwok): Pakistan has announced closing all land routes on the Durand Line with Afghanistan for an indefinite period of time due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Pakistan’s National Coordination Committee (NCC) said the decision had been taken three days ago in an emergency meeting due to the rise in Covid-19 cases in Afghanistan.
Pakistani citizens in Afghanistan and the Afghans with serious health problems, however, will be allowed to cross the Durand Line if they have negative Covid-19 test results.
Similarly, the Afghans living in Pakistan could return to their country, according to the statement. A . . .
