KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has once again announced a ban on motorcycle riding in Kabul city and districts of the central province until further notice.
MoI spokesman Tariq Aryan said that they realize the temporary ban would disturb people but requested full cooperation with security forces in this regard.
He added that the restriction was imposed on licensed and undocumented motorcycles and if the ban was ignored then police would stop the motorcycle and impound it.
Police said the reason behind the restriction was security threats.
The MoI in mid-April banned motorcycles indefinitely to fight crimes . . .
