HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): District affairs expert at the governor’s house of western Herat province has been arrested over graft charges, officials said on Tuesday.
Governor spokesman, JailaniFarhad said AbdulRazaqQariZada, Districts Affairs expert of the Governor’s house directorate of technical services, has been arrested.
He added the National Directorate of Security (NDS) would hand over the case of the accused to the prosecutor’s office.
People say earlier as well some government officials had been arrested over corruption but they were released by bribing the judiciary.
