KABUL (Pajhwok): Indian police have claimed detaining four Afghan citizens and seizing 17 kilograms of heroin worth 900 million rupees, Indian media reported.
With the seizure, the Punjab Police have dug up another trail leading to Uttar Pradesh and a team has been sent there to unravel the network, said Director-General of Police (DGP) Dinkar Gupta.
The accused were identified as Mujahed Shinwari, a native of Nangarhar, and Mohammad Lal Kakar, Jannat Gul Kakar and Samiullah Afghan -- all from Kunduz province.
Police also recovered assorted chemicals and lab equipment, used in the manufacture of drugs, from the Neb Sarai . . .
