KABUL (Pajhwok): Two civilians were killed and three more wounded in a blast targeting a district chief’s vehicle in southern Kandahar province on Saturday.
The district chief survived the attack in the Ghra village of Daman district at around 9:00am, said a security official, who declined to be named. The source told Pajhwok Afghan News the explosion hit the vehicle of Haji Pir Mohammad Dandi, the Daman district administrative head.
He added Dandi escape unhurt in the explosion but two civilians were killed and three others wounded.
