KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): A number of Islamic scholars in southeastern Khost province on Monday called the ongoing war in Afghanistan as against Islam and said that some figures killed Afghans for their own interests.
The scholars in a gathering in the capital of Khost province said that Taliban in the past used the excuse of foreigners’ presence in Afghanistan for their war, but now the Taliban had no justification for war as foreign troops were leaving the country.
EhsanullahHussain, one of the clerics talking to the gathering, said that the Taliban should also sign a peace deal with the Afghan . . .
