SHARAN (Pajhwok): Five policemen were injured in a car-bombing in the Mata Khan district of southeastern Paktika province on Monday, an official said.
Governor Gen. Mohammad Yasin Khan told reporters the Taliban launched a group attack on the Mata Khan district while carried out a car bombing in the district bazaar that inflicted heavy financial losses on the people.
He said five policemen injured and a number of shops and other infrastructure demolished as a result of the bombing.
