Herat security situation will improve: Mirzakwal

KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Interior Minister Abdul Sattar Mirzakwal has said that security situation of Herat province will improve in the near future.

Mirzakwal arrive in Herat province to assess the security situation of the province and chaired a high level security meeting.

Governor Abdul Sabour Qani, Deputy NDS head and Police chief Syed Mrajuddin Sadaat were present in the meeting.

Acting interior minister said that efforts were on to chalk out strategy to improve security situation of the province and retake captured areas.

“I assured the people that with the implementation of new strategy people the news strategy will help improve the security situation,” he said.
