KABUL (Pajhwok): Security forces have retake the Korakh district of eastern Herat province from the Taliban, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and local officials said on Friday.
MoD Assistant Spokesperson Fawad Aman on his twitter account wrote that security forces retake the Korakh district on Friday morning.
Herat Governor Spokesperson Jailani Farah said that security forces retake the Korakh district of Herat this morning.
He said 15 militants were killed and over 20 others injured during the operation conducted for the recovery of Korakh district.
