How Salsila Alikhel kidnapped, returned home?

KABUL (Pajhwok): Pajhwok Afghan News has gathered information regarding the nature of Afghanistan’s Ambassador Najibullah Alikhel’s daughter kidnapping and a 50 rupee banknote that maintained threatening remarks to Afghan ambassador.

Salsila Alikhel was kidnapped last Friday in Islamabad after she went to a super market for shopping.

A well-placed security source said that Salsila Alikhel come out of her house in F-7 and got off from taxi in front of Tahzeeb Shop in Blue Area.

After shopping she hired another taxi to go to her house but some unidentified person forced their way into the taxi and when Salsila complained to the taxi driver one of the assailants beat Salsila.

The source said: “The attacker told Salsila that your father is a communist and we will not let him go as well.”

Salsila go unconscious after she was beaten. After few hour when she return to normalcy she found her hands and legs fasten. She finds an old shall and shoes as well, a 50 rupee banknote is also fasten in the shall with some notes on it.

The note is: “This time it is your turn.”

Salsila wear shoes and cover herself with shall and ask some people about the place, they respond that it is F-7 but there were not homes in the vicinity.

Salsila then call a member of her family who come and take her to the house. Afghan government showed strong reaction after the incident and recalled its envoy and top diplomats.

The source said Salsila’s legs and hands bones got fractured and she is under medical treatment at the movement.

Pakistan’s Interior Minister Shaikh Rashid termed the incident a drama and said it was a huge conspiracy hitched against Pakistan.

Afghan Foreign Ministry termed Rashid’s remarks as biased and strongly rejected.
