KABUL (Pajhwok): European Union (EU) Special Acting Envoy for Afghanistan Tomas Niklasson has urged for a mediator to forge stalled Afghan peace talks.
On his official twitter handler, the EU envoy said: “42 intense hours in #Doha at 45 degrees. Talks with both negotiation teams to the #AfghanPeaceProcess, India’s Ambassador @d_mittal73, and EU Heads of Mission. Mediation is needed to help the parties reach a negotiated settlement. Time is of the essence . . .
