PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Scions of Pakistan’s mainstream political parties have exchanged views on the current situation in Afghanistan.
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Awami National Party’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Aimal Wali Khan met in Islamabad on Saturday.
The upcoming politicians agreed on the need for stability in Afghanistan for the sake of peace and development in the region at large.
Sources in both parties confirmed they conferred on the rapidly deteriorating situation in Afghanistan and its implications for Pakistan
While discussing the current political situation in the country, they also weighed the option of a joint struggle by like-minded parties.
